What do you get when you mix sun, fun, kids, bikes, scooters and water squirters? How about if you add friendly neighbors, good music, ice cold water, free ice cream and lots of “How-do-you-do’s?

You have just read a review of the June 10th ice cream social event which was held in the front yard of Jonnie and Sherry Keith @ Dublin & Erin.
Our hats are off to Brenda Miller and the Wexwood Glen Hospitality Committee for making the event, one to remember! The committee’s planning and implementation paid off with new friendships and connections for the community.
What’s that you say? You forgot to look at your refrigerator magnet which lists all the WGCA events for this year, and you missed the ice cream social!!
Oh, so, you didn’t check your mailbox for the flyer that the committee left to remind you of the ice cream social!
We are so sorry that you missed out on some great neighborly fun. But, guess what? Our next gathering is the quarterly Zoom meeting on Thursday, July 13th at 6:00 PM. Call your neighbor now and ask them to call you right away if the meeting starts and they don’t see you on the Zoom call.
Picture, if you will, all the children who attended the ice cream social in the center of a big circle of adults smiling at them, cheering them on and asking God’s blessings on them now and in the future.
And that is how the Wexwood Glen Community Association ended the ice cream social on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
We thank God for all in attendance, those who had a desire to be there, but couldn’t or forgot. It was a picture perfect day: Sunshine, wind and no rain.
